Work has been very testing, and I haven't gotten around to commenting on a really interesting December PUG gallery.
My favorites: "Mass at St. Eustache" by Joseph Tainter: the composition is beautiful--it shows off the architecture while also subtly showing the action. I'm a sucker for cathedrals, too. "Winners" by Paul Stenquist is a very nice shot, with great expressions, a dynamically off-balance composition, and a net in the background to provide context. "Old Soldiers" by Hank Terhell: very evocative, especially with the girl kissing the veteran. In fact, I might have cropped out the right 40% of the shot entirely. "Jump!!" by Fred Widall: Fabulous timing on this one! "Make a Wish" by Matjaz Osojnik: Nice, simple, appealing photo. "Morning in the Garden" by Tom Reese: Gorgeous. A quiet celebration in its own way. Actually, there's not a crummy shot in the whole gallery, and it was fascinating to see all the different interpretations of the theme. Thank you Adelheid!!! Rick (who has to figure out what to submit for "Technology"!) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
