Sh*t - Galen Rowell died? If someone posted this as a title before today it never hit my mail box -
He died in a plane crash the summer of 2002. I still remember coming home from a mountain trip and reading on photo.net that he died in a plane crash the previous afternoon. I was quite devastated having been looking foreward to 30 more years of his photography and writing.
