I didn't know that. I knew they made 220 versions of the White
Lightning units because Paul asked me to take one to Europe on one of
my trips to make sure it really worked properly in several
countries. Glad to know he did the same with AlienBees.

use? They are cheap enough that I'm tempted to just get the most
powerful
versions and be done with it, but then I'll probably only get a
couple.
I have one of the least powerful, one mid range, and two of the most
powerful. The only problem with buying only the most powerful is
that you may find times when the flash is too bright when tuned down
to its lowest setting. I don't think I have ever used any of them at
full power.
Remember that buying a flash strictly on power is like buying a car
strictly on horsepower. Other factors are important, too.
