Responding to the conversation on family photos -

I'm in the middle of a similar family project.

I thought the scanning would be tedious. Other than time consuming,
it's not that bad. The part I don't enjoy is taking the photos out of
the various album pages that the family has used over the years.

When I accumulate enough of it, I'll upload it to lulu.com and have
books printed for the other family members. I've seen the quality of
the stuff that comes from lulu and it's more than good enough for this
type of project.

See you later, gs

I'll take a look at lulu.com and see what you are talking about.

I haven't quite figured out how to do it. Whether I should scan myself or
have a photo lab do it. I did scan one old photo myself and I am not sure my
flatbed Epson scanner is the best way to go.
