FWIW, I will fess up, it's my high bid that seems to
have hit a few nerves on this list. I, too, already
own one these. It just came back from the repair shop
which tried to fix the focusing barrel. It had
started to seize up at the 20 ft. range, and seemed to
be worsening every time I used it. This has never
happened to any other lens I have owned, and I was
very nervous about sending it off to be serviced. It
came back last week. But, now, there is a distinctive
scrape at the last 1/2 turn of the focus barrel, and
I'm very worried about its prognosis. The thought of
photographing without this lens terrifies my soul.
Then...FATE strikes! Out of nowhere the Pentax Gods,
feeling my anguish, take mercy on me and force this
ebay creature to offer a LIKE-NEW version and for a
pentance, I say, a pentance. To discover that one of
you have also put up your K105 on ebay is so like the
Pentax Gods...what a sense of humor, eh? And at a
lower price!...HA! HA! HA!
No pain no gain is no myth.
Cheers,
Bob
