I concur with those points. I might accept a "DL-build" camera if it
were 10 megapixels or more. I might accept a 9 megapixel camera if it
had the build of the ist-D. I wouldn't consider this camera unless it
was really inexpensive. (Who knows?)
It could be 5fps if they design the support electronics to handle that:
the sensor certainly can. I somehow don't think that a *ist-bodied, 9Mp,
5fps camera will be very cheap...
Still, this thing is a hell of a start considering the partnership was
only announced in October. They must have has a lot of preliminary work
done, but it's still impressive.
Yes.
Samsung is a big league player and capable of very short
design-to-production cycles. I'm looking forward to more!
The monochrome version? Or the 14Mp full-frame? Cypress has the chips ;-)
