Hi troops.
I think i may have solved my exposure problems with istD and Sigma 500 super.
I think.
I usually keep the flash in my mini treker in the out side pocket in the
streched out
position. When
i go to use it, i position down to ,what i thought was, normal 90 degree
position.
I noticed the last few times i would use the flash, the bounce flash icon was
blinking. I
shot
anyway and usually got a poor exposure.
I was shooting a picture last weekend for a friends joke Christmas present, and
it did the
same
thing. For some reason, i moved the head off what i thought was 90, and reset
the head.
This time i
heard a click(something i have never heard before when setting the head) and
the icon went
a way.
I think what i was doing was putting the flash in the 7 degree down mode, the
icon would
pop up, and
it was effecting the shots.
The pictures i took of my friend and subsequent flash shots have all turned out
quite
well.
New years resolution, don't give up so quicky from now on and be persisitant.:-)
