Hi gang,

Today I finally got around to play with real snow in front of my macro setup.
After sifting through the results, this is what's left:

I've tried two optical combinations today. The M-28/2.8 reversed on bellows is quite nice, but it's a real PITA to work with bellows and manual apertures. Especially with thick gloves on. The upside is that the bellows allow varying magnification. The other combination, A*200/4 with a FA50/1.4 reversed is still my preferred combo. However, I do stop the reversed lens down from 1.4 to 2.0. According to the books, the reversed lens should be used wide open, but I find that stopping the FA down to 2.0 improves constrast a lot.

Enjoy,
Jostein
