OK, phew, so it isn't just me. Anyway, thanks for the
response. Something about buying filters used bugs me
a little but I do appreciate your advice. I have used
the Hoyas on my Hexanon lenses and so far they've been
fine. (I've used the one step down from the top -
maybe it is multi-coated but not super-multi-coated?)
I expect the Hexanons to flare more so probably I am
more careful with them anyway...though otherwise I
love those lenses. Something about the Pentax lenses
makes me want to keep Pentax filters out front. But
maybe I will switch to Hoya. I've heard good
recommendations for B+W but they are quite expensive
(not that the Pentax filters were cheap either).
