I've been thinking a bit about this photo, and alluded to my thoughts in my original post. We're all commenting on the lack of passion and closeness between the partners, visible eye that looks "wrong," and so on. In other words, we're putting our idea of what the photo should be on this image. However, what if Juan wanted to show the lack of passion and the odd position of the people? Would that make the photo "better" in our minds?
