I love his writing style - it's as good as his photography, and really the only reason to visit his site.
I don't think he proof-reads very critically though (or with a cynical mind that would have to raise itself up a long way just to reach the gutter). For example, on his family page where he talks about his wife and his Nobel Prize-winning brothers, he informs us that his wife 'loves her doggies' and his brother 'has a long article'. Call me a 14-year-old, but I think those should be on the Ken Rockwell Quotations page. http://www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Ken_Rockwell/ -- Cheers, Bob "I do photography for love, not money but do occasionally make my work available to serious collectors and art lovers." --- Ken Rockwell > -----Original Message----- > From: Christian [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 03 January 2006 18:46 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Wonderfull New year message. > > Jack Davis wrote: > > This thread confirms my reaction to this site. > > What really gets me is his writing style. 5th grade at best. > all his essays should start out: "what I did on my summer vacation" > > -- > > Christian > http://photography.skofteland.net > > > >
