Hi, Miss Jody, here's some random thoughts... I like the framing on the
left side of the photo. It's interesting, and works much better--*much*
better--than the railing at the bottom. Railings in zoo photos are ugly,
even when out of focus. :) Your composition is not bad. I think the top
of the photo might be a bit too busy, but I like it, and I like the
arrangement of the penguins. You have a good eye. That being said, the
colours seem pretty muted, and only the left penguin (okay, *maybe* the
right one, too) even looks like a penguin to me. I'm not sure if it's the
film or the quality of the scan, but the birds seem grainy to me, perhaps
een a bit out of focus. I wouldn't mind seeing this shot as an 8x10
prints, with some cropping at the top and bottom, either.
