Actually it's the Thunderbolt II, IIRC. The original Thunderbolt being
the P47, another plane built around the concept of applied brute force.

Warthog is it's unofficial working name (officially it's the
Thunderbolt). Like the B-52 Stratofortress, which is not so politely
referred to as the "B.U.F.F.". I'll leave it to you to work that one
