Reminds me of a story about Randolph Churchill (son of Winston), who had a tumour removed. It was announced that it was not malignant.

I think it was Evelyn Waugh who said: "This was a typical triumph of modern science - they found the only bit of Randolph that was not malignant, and removed it".
