Thanks Christian. I think the remakes of old classics are a good thing,
although they have limited appeal. But there are only so many highly
desirable cars that can be reproduced, and the public will tire of also
rans in a hurry. I think the retro looking cars that aren't referencing
a particular classic, such as the PT Cruiser, are a passing fad that's
all but dead. Interestingly enough, GM got in on this just soon enough
to be there for the terminal illness stage.
