I have to believe that Cal Precision gets their parts from Pentax USA. Itdoes, however, sound like the $137.37 was extremely low. I recently had myFA* 300mm F4.5 repaired for a lot more (that was a lens element, however).
I replaced the rear element on the A* 135/1.8 lens before I sold it. It too costed only about $50 everything included.
