That PF is to choose the function of the spot metering button at the
back of the camera. The standard metering is 8 zone, and when you push
the button at the back, you change to spot metering, but you can change
such behaviour by using that Pentax function. If you change it, whenever
you push that button, you will switch the camera to centre weighted.
