Legally if you are charged and found guilty, you are guilty. That's a tautology. Whether you've committed the crime that you're guilty of is beside the point. In most of the English speaking world, you're not guilty until after the trial, and until the finder of fact makes it's declaration, your guilt is in doubt. At least that's how it's supposed to work in theory.
