When Canon put shutter priority automation into their cameras, it was
still Pioneering, I didn't include Konica because they were out of the
SLR business for about 20 years, until they recently bought Minolta.

I think Konica pioneered shutter priority. Canon wasn't someone to be
reconed with at the time. Not until the mid 70's.
