I see what you say about adjusting the black level. That was my
first thought when working with the picture, so I tried it and found
that it disturbed the soft white high key mood. That was one of the
reasons why I wanted comments on the picture, to see if this version
worked. I think I´ll conclude with a careful "Yes" .-)

Very nice.
I'm looking at it on my laptop screen at present, where I think
it might be marginally improved with a slight curves adjustment
to pull the shadows down a touch, but even as it is I like it a lot.
I agree with Godfrey. I like it a lot but a very slight curves
adjustment might lift it.
On the other hand, it might not. (I like to consider all
possibilities.)
