Got it in one! It arrived in the post on Friday. Pooch wasn't cold at all :-) Snow was thawing fast. Temp was up to at least 6C. Unfortunately on Saturday when I was hoping to go out and use the lens some more it was raining, then rain turned to very light blowing snow and temps dropped to -12C. It's -21C at the moment.
