Congrats on the DA 10-17, Wendy.
I've ordered one from Adorama, but aren't sure if they actually
have it in stock. If it's available in Canada, perhaps it is in
the U.S. too. I should know tomorrow whether they ship it or
send me an inaccurate message why they haven't shipped it.

Nope. Today, Adorama's web site says they don't have it yet.
Last week their web site showed it as available. Once again
Adorama jumped the gun. So I should get an email from them
saying it is backordered.
The last time Adorama did this to me was with the DA 40. I
cancelled the order with them and ordered from B&H instead.
Once again, the U.S. is near the bottom of the list for
receiving new Pentax products. But I think Australia rates even
lower than us.
