I think someone mentioned a few months ago that Pentax' strategy was to get a good base of users up first. I think that's reasonable. And if only a small percentage of those newbie users develop an interest, they will inevitably start looking at more expensive equipment. By then, they are locked into the K-mount system. It must be good for the rest of usn to create this demand. I prefer the blue Schneider band to the green DA, too.
