some interesting definitions of "professional" have been floating down the
list this past week. I admit that I previously wished this thread would die
a quick death but here's another twist:
Looking over the list of prohibited items for a free concert in Centennial
Olympic Park that I plan on attending tonight, I find that "professional"
camera equipment is listed.
Anyone think I would have a chance of getting in with my A3000 and sigma
70-210 lens? Or even my Kalimar 28-105? I'd bet not, both lenses contribute
to the "big black camera" look. Though virtually none of you would count
this set-up anywhere near the ranks of professional cameras, the yellow
shirted security folks would surely toss me out of line....
