But it is part of the Ford Motor Company's Premier Auto Group. I
occasionally see Aston prototypes running around Dearborn.
BTW, do you know the derivation of the V12 motor in the Aston?
Jack Roush did the prototype work for a show car, the GT90 in which he
furnace brazed two 3.0L V6 Duratec engines.

Aston Martins are built at Newport Pagnell by the same people for years.
