They're right, though. If you want good prime lenses other than extreme
telephoto, nobody beats Pentax. And a couple of recent zooms are prety
damn good, too.

It is interesting that he has the same gripes about Canon (lack of
lenses) that we have about Pentax, plus he thinks the Pentax lens
line-up is the promised land.
