I would think they have. Otherwise both CoS and the author would have been all 
over them.

Clambake (www.xenu.net) is a Norwegian page that the Scientologist have been 
trying to stop for several years.  They have tried to make search engines 
remove their references, go to court for citing "secret" information from them 
etc, but they haven't managed it yet.  Copyright is actively used by CoS to 
stop critiques in a lot of places, but it doesn't work that way around here.

We have the right to cite passages that we are discussing, but not to let 
people download complete books and after a lot of trouble I think Andreas 
Heldal-Lund knows something about Copyright laws .-)
