Crikey! Good work - it's difficult to find good photographic spots on some DH tracks (in Aus anyway), but this looks like a good, action-packed venue. I'd hate to see the course in the rain, though - that dust looks like it'd clag up at the first sign of water...
Victoria Park is teeming with MTB tracks of various difficulties; in fact I've done a lot of riding there myself. The soft dust is really only a surface coating and I think it was only there because the DH riders had been knocking a bit of the surface off. When it rains the tracks become a little slick. The city council have been putting up signs discouraging riding in the wet as it ruins the tracks.
I'm trying to figure out the line the rider in DH #1-21 is taking - is he jumping from the logs to the tree on the RHS edge? Or is the landing out of frame somewhere?
The landing is out of frame. The angle of his bike suggests he may have been showing off, as a couple of riders did.
From what I could see there is basically zero margin for error in that jump which is why only the best riders were taking it.
