More and more often they don't have true viewfinders at all.
The picture in LCD is not the one that could be used for evaluating the scene.
Electronic viewfinder (EVF), IMNHO, is the most useless invention of (at
least) last 10 years... I CANNOT focus to subjects, that I don't see clearly.

That's a design issue, not an inherent advantage of SLR's (In fact SLR's are laggy compared to rangefinders or TLR's). The better Prosumer cameras are approaching the slower SLR's in lag now.
