That's because Chrysler did it right. GM is a classic example of how not
to do it (Outside of the Chevy/GMC trucks and vans). How many
unimpressive versions of the same Opel are they going to pass off on us
before they finally go bankrupt?

My point was that badge engineering to stimulate sales can produce
profit. It appears to be working for Pentax.
