Yes, that's all it does. The better adapters hold it at the correct
distance from the film ;-)
I't probably a better idea to buy a 645 AND a couple of Pentax
lenses. Then
perhaps use the Xenotar now and then.
Or stick to the P6 system, which works quite well, as long as no
metering is
involved. That is flash -/studio work, and landscape shots, when I
use a
hand held (incident) meter anyway.
Better idea in my opinion. I use some lenses via adapter on my EOS
10D and EOS-1v, but it is not nearly as convenient as using the Canon-
mount lenses.
