Absolutely not true! Last week I divulged my current livelyhood (notice I didn't
say "profession") as a bike courier. Now, I'll tell you that in my dark distant
past, I used to me a member of a "profession".
We received Reports at least once per week on the profession, then there were
numerous journals, updates, continuing education courses available, new
textbooks, seminars, not to mention simply discussing the "latest" with other
members of the profession.
I'm sure that it's the same in virtually all professional organizations.
Education is continual.
