So far, I've just used a bit of Enhanced Matte, which I thought looked kind of dead, but that might be the Photo Black ink rather than the Matte Black ink, and the Premium Lustre.

A friend gave me some Epson Watercolour Paper, which looked like it might be good for some things. I admit to rather pedestrian tastes when it comes to paper, so far, I am quite liking the Premium Lustre. I am loath to change over to Matte Black ink, for cost resons. The 4800 won't do it on the fly, and seems to need 75 bucks worth of ink to make the changeover.

You need Matte Black ink to get the best on the matte surface papers. There are profiles for the Photo Black ink, but they don't work as well. The EEM paper looks dead when put next to Velvet Fine Art, but is pretty nice when standing alone.

I set up the R2400 with Matte Black when I got it and have never changed inks. I don't use anything other than matte surface papers.
