The 1.9/85mm (in any of its three incarnations) is not as well regarded as
the later SMC 1.8/85 (not to be confused with the earlier Auto 1.8/85),
however, it's not a dog for sure and is well worth 75 USD.
For that price I'd take one or two any day!

I spotted a "pile of photographic junk" up for auction. In this pile
there's
this SMC 1.9 85mm Pentax lens.
Is it worth buying for perhaps 75 USD - or should I just forget it?
According to splosdb it should sell for apr. 130-230 USD.
I don't relly want a mediocre lens.
