On 3/2/06, William Robb, discombobulated, unleashed: >I'm hoping he will fly into Calgary and then we can share the driving. >I think it would be a hoot to watch Cotty drive a large left hand drive >vehicle on the interstates...
I'm there man. Just one thing, I prefer it off the tarmac, so you better have beefy springs. The last large left-hooker I drove was a VW van with 4 aboard and all our luggage + filming kit on the autobahn in Germany, following an RAF Audi in convoy to a WWII crash site 2 hours south of Berlin. We had to beat a coach of vets, so we weren't hanging around. My foot was welded to the floor and we managed a sliver of bratwurst short of 110 mph. This with a projectile that has slightly better aerodynamics than those of the common house brick. I think the pics are still up at <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/photoessays/essays/berlin.html> any way, I digress. Bill, I would love to take a trip with you. As long as we can go to a drive-in.
