Just to add to my reputation for being cheap, I keep coming across references to the FA28-70 f4. From what I've read, quite a few people really like this lens. The only down side that I've discovered so far is that some of them suffer from delamination. Would anyone who has, or has had, one of these care to comment?
I bought mine from fellow PDMLer... It was pristine and I considered to be just a slightly slower extension of my 50 mm... It was *that* good. Then, I think towards 10 years of age those lenses suffer from separation. The same happened to mine...
Now I have 28-105/4-5.6 (Tamron re-badge)... It is good, but 28-70/4 is, well, sweet, if you know what I mean...
