I have several *istD bodies, and have lost count of the times they have clicked over the 10,000 images. Perhaps 50-60,000 shots. Only one body of the 3 has not had a repair and is going like a new one. This is also the body I use most. It may have had 80,000 images taken. The counter will "click over' at 10,000 back to zero.
