Ann, I'm not familiar with the ZX-5, but all my other power rewind Pentaxes
(SF1, PZ1, PZ1P) have had somewhat similar occurrences (either on wind or
rewind) and all had to go back the the camera doc for installation of new
parts. I thought it was batteries, film etc. in the end they had to be sent
in. I've asked the repair people if they had seen much of this and they
replied no. I shoot a lot of film with these bodies and they probably see
more usage than most.
