how I know there's no hope for me

I was out shooting on a bright, sunny day recently, 
and I took my sunglasses off for a minute. Of course,
everything looked a lot brighter when I took off my 
sunglasses, but instead of thinking, "Gee, it's really
bright out today," I thought, "Gee, everything
looks overexposed today."
