The DA 16-45 is a much better lens than the DA 18-55. Aside from it's
better optical performance, it is a constant aperture is goes wider.
About like comparing a 24mm to a 28mm for normal film 35. It is F4 at
45mm and the 18-55 is 5.6 at 55mm. In this case, you get what you pay
for.

Not quite sure why you threw the 24-90 into this. It is an entirely
different focal length range that has some cross over. Either you
need to get to the wide side or the long side. If wide is important,
then the DA 16-45, if long is more important then the 24-90. You
don't need to compare them directly as they are not similar lenses or
uses.
