ok, i'll expand on that: if you look up my previous posts on the subj, you'll find that i used to defend pentax position, since, if you dropped professional offerings at $10K give or take, istD was on par with competition.
since d200 and d5 arrived, it's not anymore. i was happy to see d200 and d5 coming out, thnking that that would mean, pentax would respond with *something* at pma and i might see a new istd successor some time this summer. now it looks like some time next summer, which is the same as "when the pigs fly". this article seems to be nothing but a pr stunt in the face of very stiff competition when they have nothing to hold on to but their panties. this is a very disppointing news. best, mishka On 2/9/06, Paul Stenquist <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Huh???
