It has potential but as you've posted it doesn't do much for me.
Perhaps two exposures, one correct for the rock & one correct for the
sky/background?

It's got potential -- it's dramatic and the lighting is nice. But some of
the
rock shadows are a little too dark. I don't know if you PS, but using the
Shadow/Highlight, you could lighten the shadows a tad and I think that
would help
a lot -- just a little more detail.
