I got mine from Don, and like it quite a bit.  I don't have any photos
from it scanned in at the moment, or I would post one for you.  This
lens has replaced both my 50/1.7 and 28/3.5 as my primary in all but
low light situations and those times when I just have to have
something a bit wider.  It's not quite as sharp as the 28, but for a
street lens it's perfect.  Of course, I'm using it on a film body, but
I would imagine it would make a decent normal lens for digital when
wider apertures aren't needed.  The price you paid seems about right.
