I'd rather ask here than in some other forum. Though y'all haven't heard from me much in a few years, I've been subscribed the whole time. Here's the question:
I still scan film, and the most color correction I have is Adobe Gamma. My printers do not have any icc profiles for specific paper/ink combinations, and my film scanner can scan into a specified workspace but is not profiled. Windows 98 has, in the Printer control panel, the ability to attach a profile to a printer. If that is done, is it necessary in photoshop, when printing, to specify the same profile that you attatch to a printer if you DON'T specify "printer color management"? What the heck happens if you do or don't? Thanks in advance, group. I felt bad about the Pentax Canada episode, Bill's bone marrow scare, and a whole host of other things that have happened here. Hugs and kisses to Cotty and Knarf, two who have enthusiasm and humour. -Lon
