I was shooting with both my ME Super and my LX at the cottage this
weekend, and the ME Super is miles quieter than the LX.
I did years of available light work with my ME Super, and had great
success with it. Excellent viewfinder, tiny, quiet, and quite and
excellent "feel" to it. And you get used to those buttons in a jiffy.
