I can't see the pole at all in the second shot looking at it on the web. ... but I like the red sign, the red in the stop sign, the restaurant sign, the guy's pants, etc... so the top of the sign I wouldn't want removed. There is a little pattern of color there of red's and yellows I like. I tried to make it just look like there was snow clinging to the pole. I would never completely remove something that was actually there all the time.. on principle. For me, I was just using the shot to say "Hey guys, look at all that snow in my 'hood! - and look at that jerk riding a bicycle in it. I saw the guy on the bike just a couple of secs before I snapped... the woman wasn't part of the plan - but when I saw it I liked the relationship of forms. although I did hold the camera up to my face, I couldnt see what I was doing through the view finder and I had an armful of groceries... Anyway, Where is Doug???? :) Haven't had a chance to review anything else I took, really - I have one I took from my window but I'm not pleased with it. But the point is, if it is a street shot, I'm not going to mess with it in that fashion in photoshop - I don't care if you want to show us or me what you did to get rid of the pole totally - but I didn't _not_ do it because I didn't know how. ann > > > [Original Message] > > From: Ann Sanfedele <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > To: <[email protected]> > > Date: 2/13/2006 12:49:38 PM > > Subject: Re: PESO: around the corner (revised for doug:) ) > > > > Shel Belinkoff wrote: > > > > > > Not really ...
