I'm in the proccess of working the fund raiser Raw files. I open each one
individually in PS EL 3, with next to do adjustments from the auto proccess
except for a little exposure tweak, send to
the editor, fix any red eye, and save as high end jpg for the performers.
Any way to automate this or is raw, one step at a time.
BTW i have CS on the ibook. If EL3 has nothing toautomate, does CS.
In Elements 3, if you want to apply the same raw settings from one
picture to a whole bunch of others and then open them directly in the
Editor, you can do that. You'd highlight the lot in File Browser and
choose "Apply Camera Raw Settings" from the File Browser's "File"
drop-down menu. Then, with your cursor on the last highlighted
thumbnail, Shift-Double-click and they'd all open in the editor without
going through the raw processor.
Once they're all open in the editor, if you don't want to work on them
individually, you can close them and save them as max JPEGs (or whatever
else you might want to save them as) by using the Process Multiple Files
function and choosing Opened Files as the source.
In case of wayward posts, I'm leaving in Mark's suggestion below:
RAWShooter Essentials. It's free:

Quite intuitive to use.
