I like the picture, nice catch. My only peeve is that it appears
to be slightly front focused. I.e. her face is not as sharp as her
left leg.
I think you're responding to an artifact of the re-sharpening in the
low-res web image. On my 8x10 print, her face is equally as sharp as
her leg, which makes sense since they are in very nearly the same
plane relative to the camera.

Godfrey, recently I decided I needed to complete my The Beatles
education by listening to their Anthology... Second volume, if I am
not mistaken has their draft work for Sergeant Pepper's...
This shot strongly reminded me of "I've read the news today, oh
boy..." song - the last on that album, sang by John...
Which of course is a compliment.
Hmm. Two musical references I've gotten on this photo so far.
Interesting...

I like the composition and contrast. The restfull relaxed
expression is great.

I like this shot, especially after our recent snow and
cold weather! I find the open newspaper on the right
edge distracting, though; you could crop it out and
take a little off the bottom and preserve the
proportions.
It hadn't bothered me until you pointed it out, but now I'll fix it
on the full rez version. I'll use a little blur and darkening to
achieve the effect I want as I like the framing and compositional
balance as is. Thanks!

Does your picture have more foreground -- more tiles? I would try
to include more if they exist and crop the right hand and top right
margins close to the ladies back the top of her head. I like it
anyway.
No, with the 135 at this distance, it had to be fairly tight as DoF
disappears quickly. I took a little off the top to lend the
foreground a bit more emphasis and fit my 8x10 proportion format.
Always interesting comments! thanks again.
