Delurking for a moment. LOL. I can't believe you folks have started a religion thread. My theory is that when Pentax announced am higher spec DSLR most of us assumed that supernatural forces/divine intervention was involved.
BTW, I think Pentax's strategy (such as it is) is easy to understand. They have abandoned the early adopters and let Nikon/Canon do all the trial sales stuff. Then they make a Pentax, i.e., smaller, lighter, version. The MF market was always their serious pro camera effort, and hence the D645. Ok, back to sleep now . . .
