Scientists don't say "there is no God". Science isn't finished and
complete. There is much more to discover, and scientists are reasonably
confident that explanations will in time be found for phenomena we can't
explain today. They doubt that God is likely to be the answer to any
question, not least because so many things that were once thought to be
magical or inexplicable now have straightforward explanations.
